Step In Lift Up
Grow Strong
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45
ABOUT SERVING
Serving in the church is one of the most powerful ways a believer can grow in their faith. When we choose to step out and serve, we’re not just filling a need — we’re opening our lives to experience God in a deeper, more personal way. Whether it's helping set up chairs, greeting someone at the door, praying for others, or working behind the scenes, each act of service builds spiritual maturity. It teaches humility, strengthens community, and helps us walk more like Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve.
What’s beautiful is that God doesn’t just use us when we serve — He also blesses us through it. Many people discover joy, healing, friendships, and even clarity of purpose when they begin serving. Somehow, in giving our time and energy, we end up feeling fuller — not emptier. That’s the upside-down goodness of God's Kingdom. We don’t serve to earn love or approval; we serve because we’ve already received it — and it overflows.
