CITY GROUPS
WHAT IS A CITY GROUP?
City Groups are midweek gatherings in homes where we read our bibles, follow a guide to effectively study the context, meaning and application of scripture, as well as dedicating time to a geographically concentrated mission. Our pillars of city group are:
GATHER - We come together to check in on each other invasively, praying for each other and strengthening our relationships as believers.
SERVE - We serve the community of the home we meet in.
Example: A group meeting in Mt. Hope will commit to serving the community near them at least once a month, examples include: Trash clean-up, school volunteering, assembling meals or essentials for food-challenged or in need people.
GROW - Life happens, seasons in our lives shift. Your city group is usually your pillar of support since they are located nearby. Our church has lovingly helped new parents adjust to life by providing meal trains, prayer and check-ins and more. When life happens, your city group is there.
